La Verne's junior Derek Jones takes control in their opening game against
Life Bible College. The Leopards triumphed with a 109-56 win. La Verne also
travelled to the Pacific Christian Tournament and won one out of two games,
including an exciting win against tournament host Pacific Christian, 73-59.
