Sharon Gasterga is serenaded in a singing valentine by senior Jose Barba,
senior Ray Garza and junior Manny Estrada during halftime at Wednesday's
basketball game. The three members of the Latino Student Forum (LSF) invited
sophomore Gasterga to the center of the basketball floor, fell to their
knees, and began to sing acappella, "Violets," a song requested
by Sharon's admirer. LSF sold the singing telegrams for $3, and will continue
to deliver them through Valentine's Day.
Senior honors students receive teaching experience through "College
Connection" program
