The University of La Verne will host its second annual Graduation Fair tomorrow, to provide prospective graduates with an opportunity to make necessary arrangements for this year's commencement.

The event, which is set to take place in the University's Sneaky Park on Third and C Street, will operate between 12:30 and 3:30 p.m. Invited are all graduates-to-be, as well as the parents of traditional-aged undergraduate students.

"The Graduation Fair gives graduates the opportunity to have access to the information, products, and services related to graduation at one time," said Steve Eubanks, assistant to associate dean of student affairs.

"In addition, the Fair will help parents understand and become involved in graduation preparations, being that they contribute to the expenses of graduation," Eubanks said.

This year's Graduation Fair will consist of a variety of services and programs available through ULV.

Participants include Collegiate Cap & Gown, servicing students who wish to purchase graduation attire; Jostens, specializing in the purchase of class rings and/or graduation announcements; Graphic Awards, offering a variety of diploma frames; University Photo, available for ordering photography packages; and Lordsburg Productions, through which graduation videos can be ordered before-hand.

"As a result of the previous year's success, more graduate services will participate in the Graduation Fair this year. They will be available to assist students and parents who demonstrate concern or have questions about the commencement," said Eubanks.

In regards to expected outcome, Eubanks simply said, "I have a good outlook on the Second Annual Graduation Fair, primarily because last year proved to be a great success."
