Free Day of Fun

Several members of the University of La Verne community will sponsor a "Free Day of Fun," scheduled to take place next Tuesday, Nov. 18.

Included in the agenda for entertainment and fun are a gyro, velcro wall, Box 'n Battle, basketball, and sumo wrestling. Food is also provided, and lunch will be provided free of charge for commuters, while on-campus students may use their meal cards.

The event will take place in the University Mall from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Behavioral Science

The Department of Behavioral Science will be holding a free informational meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 19, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the President's Dining Room.

The meeting will discuss the department's Masters of Science Counseling (M.S. Counseling) and Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Community Psychology (Psy.D.) programs. Individuals interested in learning more about these graduate programs are invited to attend.

Safety Expo

As its second annual celebration, the University of La Verne Safety and Contingency Planning Committees will be holding a Safety and Preparedness Expo today.

From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Sneaky Park, vendors will be available to display and sell their preparedness and survival products and services. In addition, others will be present to provide instruction and information to assist the community in preparing for an emergency situation.

Everyone is encouraged to visit the Expo, have fun and get prepared. Aramark, will serve lunch for $5.10.
