Vocal Jazz Ensemble
The Fullerton College Music Department presents the Vocal Jazz Ensemble
Saturday, March 21, at 7p.m. in the Recital Hall. The evening includes food
and drinks. Tickets can be purchased through the Fine Arts Box Office, Monday
through Friday. Admission is $10.
'Ragtime'
Tickets for the hit musical "Ragtime" can be purchased at
the University Bookshoppe for $10. The limit is two tickets per student
and a ULV I.D. is required. All non-traditional undergraduates can purchase
tickets for $17.50. The showing is Friday, March 20, at 8 p.m. at the Shubert
Theatre in Los Angeles.
La Vernácula
The University of La Verne Latino community magazine is now accepting
applications for La Vernácula. The deadline for submissions
is March 27. Poetry, art, photography and short stories may be entered.
Pick up applications in the Humanities Office in Miller Hall or contact
Dr. Andrea Labinger, magazine adviser, at ext. 4357.
Night of Comedy
"A Night of Comedy with ... David J" is scheduled to take
place on Thursday, March 12, at Davenport, at 8 p.m.
Students can enjoy a night of comedy and root beer floats, free of charge.
It will be sponsored by the Associated Students Federation (ASF) Forum.
