The Associated Student Federation (ASF) Forum met in the West Dining
Room Wednesday, Sept. 23, to review results of the election, introduce new
members and update plans for this year's Homecoming celebration.
Election Run-off
Following this week's elections for positions within ASF, it has been
determined that there is a run-off between three candidates for the Freshmen
Representative position.
Neither Mia Moore, Karla Uria nor Rattana Kim received a majority of
those votes placed; therefore, ASF will hold an additional election for
these candidates Monday and Tuesday to determine the Freshmen Representative.
In order to win, a freshman candidate must have a majority vote.
Members Elected
ASF has filled each of its vacancies through this week's elections.
Freshmen Bethany Reeder, Graciela Perez and Tiese Lacey; sophomore Deserie
Gallegos; junior Eboni Stanford; and seniors Darla Shunk and Valancy Rasmussen
have been elected as the new Forum members. In addition, sophomore Britain
Semain has been elected as this year's transfer representative.
