Halloween Bash
Phi Delta Theta Fraternity will sponsor its Fifth Annual Halloween Bash
Friday, Oct. 30, at the Claremont Inn. The celebration will begin at 9 p.m.
Tickets are available, on a pre-sale basis only, from Phi Delta Theta members
for $5. The Claremont Inn is located 555 W. Foothill Blvd. in Claremont.
P.A. Programs
Some of the upcoming programs sponsored by the University's program
assistants include:
- "Nutrition & You!" is designed to teach
students how to combat the "Freshman 15." Facilitators will be
in Stu-Han Lounge at 8 p.m. to advise students on where, when, what and
how to eat to maintain a good healthy diet. For more details, contact Nune

- "Staff Info Night" on Tuesday, Oct. 27,
will give students the chance to meet some of the University's staff and
learn about their role at ULV. The program will begin at 8 p.m. in Brandt
Lounge. For information, contact Gazdhyan at ext. 6204.
- On Wednesday, Oct. 28, President Stephen Morgan and
Dr. John Gingrich, dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, will be on-hand
to share about their own college days at ULV. This "Fireside Chat"
will take place in Brandt Lounge, beginning at 7 p.m. For further information,

Also that night, "Hawaii Five-O" will take place in the Oaks,
C-Bottom, at 9 p.m., to give students the chance to learn traditional hula
