Train Spotting

The "Great American Train Show" will take place this Saturday and Sunday, March 6-7, at the Fairplex in Pomona. This show is a celebration of the model locomotive. Admission is $6 and parking is $5. Contact the Fairplex at (909) 623-3111.

Local Car Show

The "West Coast's Largest Antique Auto, Corvette, Porsche, Street Rod, and VW Show and Sale" will take place all day Sunday, March 7, at the Fairplex. Cinema Seminar

The American Cinematheque Grauman's Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood will present a seminar on women in Spanish cinema Saturday, March 6, at 4 p.m. The event features a roundtable discussion with directors Maria Ripoll, Pilar Tavora and screenwriter Angeles Gonzalez. 'Cruel Intentions'

Rated R and starring Ryan Phillippe and Sarah Michelle Gellar, opens in general release today . At its core, the plot of this film is a teen-cast remake of "Dangerous Liaisons."

This R-rated comedy starring Robert DeNiro as a mob boss and Billy Crystal as his therapist opens everywhere tomorrow.
