The University of La Verne's Associated Student Federation (ASF) Forum

reviewed plans for upcoming activities and made propositions for changes
within the structure of its governmental system.
Upcoming Events
The Second Annual Free Day of Fun, which was originally scheduled for
Friday, May 7, has been rescheduled to take place Thursday, May 6.
The day will feature a velcro wall, mock Sumo wrestling, money vault
and balloon-bounce boxing, as well as a free lunch for commuters.
ASF will co-sponsor a Bowling Night with ULV sororities and fraternities
Tuesday, May 11. Bowling and shoe rentals will be free of charge to those
who attend the event at Chaparral Lanes.
The Forum has also planned for an evening of entertainment at Bullwinkle's
Family Fun Center in Upland on May 13. Though exact times for the event
have not yet been confirmed, numerous entertianment specialties will be
offered to students for free.
New Structure
Within the last several weeks, the ASF Forum has reviiewed, in detail,
its governmental system. Some propositions were made to restructure the
manner in which ASF operates and how the Forum is established, as well as
to make amendments to several of the arrticles and sections in the Forum's
Constitution.
This week, the Forum spent an extensive amount of time reviewing the
proposed changes and voted in favor of breaking the Forum down into two
entities-a political sector and an activities sector. It was also decided
that, next year, two Freshman Representative positions and two Transfer
Representative positions, rather than one position for each, will be available
for the student body.
