Senior quarterback Dan Blahy (#7) scrambles as from the Sagehens'

Pomona-Pitzer at Merritt Field in Claremont. The Leopards won the game over
the previously undefeated Sagehens, 15-14 with a last-minute touchdown pass
from Blahy. La Verne is undefeated at 4-0 for the season and will take on
Chapman in a home game at 1 p.m. tomorrow.
In a close game, the football team remains undefeated with a 15-14 win
over Pomona-Pitzer.
The women bounce back from their loss to Cal Lutheran with victories
over Whittier and Redlands.
The men earn their first two winis of the season over Whittier and Caltech.
The captain of the men's soccer team rises to the top on the field.
The Leopards come close, but fall to the Panthers, 1-0.
