La Vernacula
The University Latin Community Magazine is accepting poems, short essays
and drawing with an emphasis in Hispanic themes to be published in the fall
issue of La Vernacula magazine.
The entry forms can be picked up at the Humanities office located in
Miller Hall. For details, contact Andrea Labinger at ext. 4357 or Nancy
Morales at ext. 7-6261.
Residence Hall
All students residing in the Brandt, Stu-Han or Oaks Residence Halls
are required to vacate their rooms by Friday, Dec. 17, at 7 p.m., for the
winter break.
In addition to the time requirement, residents need to complete their
"Checkout Procedure List" and post it on their doors before leaving.
Students who reside in the Claremont Inn will be under the same requirements
as the main campus residents.
Those moving into the Red Roof Inn for the second semester will have
until Dec. 17 to do so.
Study Breaks at Davenport
The Aramark staff anticipates Davenport Dining Hall to be open during
finals week from 8 p.m.-12 a.m.
The nights are to provide a study break area for students. Refreshments
will be served throughout the duration of the stated hours.
