Jason Neidleman, Ph.D.

Dr. Jason Neidleman, Associate Professor of Political Science shares his experience with using the Blackboard wiki feature in his hybrid course, Constitutional Law.

Dr. Neidleman explains that this technology allows a community of people to work on one document, and for the most part it is used as a legal brief in the class. "Over the course of the week, after having discussed the material in class, students log on and make contributions to the wiki...The result at the end of the week is a detailed legal brief in which students have made contributions that are either original, or responses to what others have said."

This technology allows for communication online that was not available until this feature was added to Blackboard. "You build knowledge in a way you can't when each student is working independently."
