How do I create an Online Course?

Each course you teach at ULV will have a "course shell" created for you automatically in Blackboard as your course is entered in Banner. Please check MyULV for your current course listings. If they appear there, then a shell will be automatically created in Blackboard. If it is not there, your course is either not ready in Banner or Blackboard has not swept the system yet. It does its updates twice per day. Please call x4089 if you do not see your course in Blackboard.

Enrollments: As students add and drop your course in Banner, their names will be added to or dropped from your Blackboard course as well. You may use this Blackboard "course shell" to send emails to your students, to post your syllabi and other supportive course materials, as a place where students can discuss class assignments and/or submit them to a digital drop box, and for administering quizzes or exams.
