Technology

The use of technology is integral to the program and supports and extends the work done in practicum and learning group. It provides students with prepackaged presentations that they can access on their own schedule. It offers more opportunity for interaction with faculty, live presentations on webinars, virtual meetings with students in other geographical areas and discussion groups. Students learn to lead online meetings, and access other learning resources, such as library and other internet sources.

Technology Requirements

The ULV doctoral program requires students to use technology to learn, conduct research, and communicate regularly with faculty and other students. Listed below are the minimum hardware and software requirements that students need to access the ULV network, obtain program information, download course guides, take online courses, participate in online discussions, and communicate with faculty and fellow students. The Ed.D. program uses WebCT for content delivery and communications and Adobe Breeze Live for Webinars.
