Professional Placement and Career Counseling Services
Any student who is currently enrolled in, or has successfully completed, courses at the University of La Verne through the Organizational Leadership Department is eligible to receive the placement services offered by the University's Organizational Leadership Department.
Professional Placement and Career Counseling services include: maintaining and forwarding professional papers to prospective employers, general career advisement (including how to research a potential district/college, writing an effective resume, interviewing for a position, etc.); a personal critique of your professional file and resume with suggestions for improvement; and a matchmaking service whereby the faculty strives to equate the unique skills and talents displayed in the doctoral program with those being sought by a potential employer.
Individuals eligible for professional placement services include:
- All Ed.D. graduates
- Current full-time doctoral students
- Professional Administrative Services Credential students/graduates
