Loretta Busam

Bio:

Loretta was born and raised in Virginia, has lived in Chicago and North Carolina for a time, but has lived in Southern California long enough to call it home.

Loretta has been an adjunct professor of marketing at CSUSB and has served as a volunteer and as Director of Foothill Family Shelter (FFS) in Upland, a transitional shelter that helps families break the cycle of homelessness. While volunteering at FFS, she managed the programs and volunteers, counseled and taught residents on what a budget is, how to make one, and how to "stretch their dollars." While living in Chicago and North Carolina, she volunteered with charities that helped feed and clothe the needy as well as charities that provided for children with special needs.

Loretta enjoys traveling, cooking, hiking, reading, and spending time at the beach. She loves animals, especially dogs, and supports various organizations that promote animal welfare.
