Bio:

September 2001, Ruth was promoted within the Office of Academic Advising to an Academic Advisor I/ Academic Records Analyst, the first professional advisor position at the University of La Verne for the traditional undergraduate population.

This summer, July 2003, Ruth took over as the Coordinating Academic Advisor for the Liberal Studies Program at the University of La Verne.

Ruth's interests and research focus on advising undeclared students, probation students, and education majors. Other professional activities include an internship at Mount San Antonio College in the advisement center and an internship in the Career Development and Placement Center at the University of La Verne.
