MISSION STATEMENT

The Office of Financial Aid at the University of La Verne (ULV) is committed to:

Adhering to Federal, State and Institutional policies in the administration of financial aid, including the protection of student privacy.
Empowering ULV students by providing them with the access and education needed to make informed decisions.
Providing quality customer service to our students and the ULV community.

These commitments express the values, purpose and business of the Office of Financial Aid as we embrace the mission of the University of La Verne in providing Knowledge, Service to the community, and Vision for the future.

CODE OF CONDUCT

Office of Financial Aid employees do not receive anything of value from any lending institution or guarantee agency in exchange for an advantage sought by the lending institution or guarantee agency.
Office of Financial Aid employees do not accept anything, of more than nominal value, from any lending institution or guarantee agency.
Office of Financial Aid employees do not receive anything of value for serving on advisory boards of any lending institution or guarantee agency.
The University of La Verne's lender list is free of any bias, actual or perceived conflicts of interest, and is based solely on the best interests of the students or parents who may use the list without regard to financial interests of the University.
Students and parents have the right and ability to select the lender of their choice regardless of the University of La Verne's lender list.
The Office of Financial Aid uses its own employees and not employees of lenders or guarantee agencies in staffing the office.
