Financial Aid Opportunities Available

The University of La Verne has financial aid to assist students in meeting the cost of graduate education. Through this program, loans come from the federal and state governments. Some loans are needs-based; others are not. The disbursement of these monies to students is carefully controlled by the rules and stipulations of various governmental agencies.

Eight to ten weeks are ordinarily needed to complete the financial aid process. To apply for federal or state financial aid, please contact the Financial Aid Office. For information, you may call the Department of Financial Aid at (909) 593-3511, ext. 4135. If you are on campus and want to pick up financial aid applications and materials, the office is located on the northeast corner of 3rd and B Streets in Woody Hall.

Other sources of financial help come from the university itself in the form of departmental scholarships and assistantships. To learn more about these opportunities, contact the academic department directly.
