Concentration in Leadership and Management

Core Curriculum (15 semester hours)

Designed by industry professionals, the core courses provide the key competencies essential for effective health services management. All MHA students must complete the following core courses:

HSM 501 Recent Trends and Issues in Health Services
HSM 502 Financial and Cost Analysis
HSM 503 Healthcare Economics or-

Management and Leadership Concentration (12 semester hours)

Designed to provide a solid grounding in management theories and their applications in health services organizations for those currently in and those seeking management positions.
