Residence Hall Services

Front Desks: Each hall has a front desk located in the main lobby. Services provided include emergency assistance, check-out of sports equipment, VCR and vacuum cleaner.

Housekeeping: The University provides a housekeeping service to clean all of the general use areas, such as the bathrooms, lobby and lounges.

Kitchens: Kitchen facilities are available for use in Brandt and Stu-Han. In the Oaks, each floor has a kitchen area for your use.

Laundry Facilities: All of the Residence Halls are equipped with coin-operated washing machines and dryers in each building.

Lounges: Each lounge is equipped with sofas and chairs for studying or recreation. There are televisions, pool tables, and other games available in the lounges for use by residents.

Mailboxes: All students who live on campus must obtain a mailbox, located in the Student Center.

Parking: All vehicles that are parked on University property must display a current year parking permit. Permits are $20.00 and can be obtained through the Campus Safety Office.

Telephones: Campuslink is the phone company that provides phone services for students that live in the residence halls. For details and sign-up visit this page...

Vending Machines: Drink machines are provided in Stu-Han, Brandt and the Oaks lobbies. A snack machine is provided in the main lobby of Stu-Han and "B" Lounge in the Oaks.

Costs

Room and board fee includes all utilities and local telephone calls. The price of a double occupancy space, on the average, is less than most off campus options. The housing license agreement is for a 9-month academic year, not a 12-month calendar year.
