Housing and Residential Life News
Beginning Monday September 15, 2008, the Campus Safety Department will be citing vehicles parked on University property (parking lots and streets) that don't have valid parking permits. Parking permits are required Monday through Friday from 7 am until 6 pm. Students living in the Oaks Residential Buildings must have the approved Oaks parking permits to park in the three Oaks parking lots. These permits are not valid in any of the other University parking lots. Displaying University parking permits on City streets will not prevent you from getting a citation for a City parking violation. Please read all signs on City streets. First Street is now one way and there is unrestricted parking on the south curb. Make sure you park your vehicle within the designated parking stalls on 1st Street and the marked ruled lines in the University parking lots or you will receive a citation.
Please remember that overnight parking on all
city streets is prohibited except for C Street in front of Stu-Han. Students who
park on 3rd Street in front of Stu-Han will get a citation
if they are parked between 2:00am and 5:00am. The same holds true for
the Brandt students who park in front of Woody Hall during the same
time period.
Deadline to submit your request to loft/deloft or bunk/debunk your bed is Noon Friday September 19th. You may submit your request either through the on line Maintenance Request Form or come to the Housing Office. Facilities Management will begin working on these requests at the end of the week of the 22nd. Please note that the beds in Brandt Hall can not be adjusted.
To all Oaks residents:
Please note that there is no overnight parking along E street. Also, you must park at least 10-15 feet from the fire hydrant. Citations will be issued. [ Click here for more News ]
