About Us

In the University of La Verne, relevant personnel of different colleges, offices, and units work cooperatively towards improving its programs and service offerings. Two main entities are organized to provide institutional research and assessment.

The Office of Institutional Research has the primary responsibility of fulfilling institutional level internal and external reporting requirement of the University and for conducting institutional level research and preparing information in support of institutional accountability, academic program review, strategic planning and accreditation. The Office also leads Institutional Research Group, a team of researchers who directly or indirectly work towards institutional effectiveness across the university and convene to discuss issues regarding institutional research and assessment.

The Academic Assessment Committee is responsible for coordinating institutional-wide assessment plan in regard to assessing student learning outcomes of academic programs at both the undergraduate and the graduate levels.
