ULV Facts

In fall 2006, the University enrolled 8328 students (about 6806.5 FTE/Full-Time Equivalents). Of those students, about half were either on Main Campus, or enrolled on full-time basis, or of graduate level. And two thirds of them were female.
In terms of ethnicity, the University is ranked No. 8 in overall racial diversity among all U.S. National Universities and ranked No. 1 in Hispanic student presence among the most racially diverse National Universities, according to U.S. News & Report on 2008 America's Best Colleges Rankings.
During the academic years of 2001-2006, the University graduated over 11,000 undergraduate and graduate students. About 50% of its full-time freshmen have graduated within 6 years and this percentage increases gradually.
The average financial aid package of those who were determined to receive any financial aid was $18,223 for freshman and $20,615 for other undergraduates.
Compared to Fiscal Year 2004-05, the revenue from private gifts and grants (endowment) were almost doubled in Fiscal Year 2005-2006.
