“ORIENTATIONS”: The ISAC sponsors six orientations a year—in late August and early February for the semester programs and in early October, early January, mid March, and early June for the term programs. www.ulv.edu/isac “OPT INFORMATION SESSIONS”. Optional Practical Training Workshops are held regularly. If you wish to apply for the benefit of OPT, you need to sign up for a session. Watch for Information that comes to you from the ISAC. “WORK WORKSHOPS”: Twice a year the ISAC sponsors a “Work Workshop” which outlines the ways that international students can change their status to H-1B.
