Online Tutoring Overview

Online tutoring allows students to get assistance with their writing assignments through an email exchange with a writing tutor.

How to utilize Online Tutoring

  1. Make an appointment with the online tutor by calling the LEC at ext.4342. Your appointment time will be one hour.
  2. Email your paper as a Word document attachment by 8am on the day of your appointment to lec@ulv.edu.
  3. The tutor will review your paper during the appointment time, and it will be emailed back to you with the tutor's comments within 24 hours of your appointment time.
  4. If you have any questions or technological problems, you can call the LEC front desk at ext. 4342, or the LEC's IT specialist, Brad Patton, at ext. 4849.
