Opened in September 2001, The Literacy Center provides a place of instruction and tutoring facilities for the candidates within our Reading and Language Arts Specialist Credential Program. The University of La Verne is proud to be one of only three private Southern California Universities to offer the Reading Certificate, Reading and Language Arts Specialist Credential, and Master of Education in Reading.
