Serving the City of La Verne, population 32,916 in the Pomona Valley, 30 miles east of Los Angeles, LVTV-3 has nearly 6,000 subscribers and provides coverage of events in the community and at the University of La Verne. Since 1994, the University of La Verne Communications Department has contracted with the city of La Verne to run LVTV-3. Television students in the Communications Department at the University create much of the station's programming.

Regular shows include Bonita Unified School District meetings, University of La Verne football, basketball and baseball, the Fasnacht Lecture Series, plays, political forums, Concerts in the Park, little league baseball games, and high school sports, concerts and plays.

LVTV-3 also produces a bi-weekly show, "La Verne Report," that includes segments produced by Bonita High School students, "Cat Tracks," and students at Ramona Intermediate School, "Viking News," and University of La Verne students, "La Verne Spotlight."

LVTV-3 is currently producing "Focus on Education" in conjunction with the Bonita Unified School District. This program looks at education issues in the local school district.
