Strategic Plan
The University's Strategic Plan, along with its Mission Statement, will guide the
institution academically during the next decade. The Strategic Plan serves as a
framework for making ongoing decisions that will result in continuous
University improvements -- physically, financially and academically.
The premise of the Plan is to:
- build on the strong heritage of the University to serve Southern California and the global community in the 21st century
- develop a more visible and marketable identity
- address critical issues of space, institutional, and program size
- enhance research and professional activity and increase the quality of the student body
- serve as a framework for continuous University improvement
In addition, the Plan establishes a number of goals to be achieved by 2008,
including a commitment to:
- locations and plans for the delivery of programs
- plan for campus development and expansion that supports and represents an institution of recognized excellence
