All program initiatives have the goal of creating awareness of the gifts and talents of the diverse ULV community, and of challenging racism, sexism, classism, heterosexism, homophobia, and other forms of oppression.

Human Relations Issues Process (series training)
This training series invites students, faculty and staff to participate in a hands-on, experiential human relations process consisting of several 3 hour segments followed by a weekend retreat.

Multicultural Student Leadership Development Program
This will focus encouraging a continuity of leadership among the cultural clubs and organizations with the added outcome of building collaborative partnerships among the cultural clubs leadership.

Expand the support of awareness month celebrations
(Inclusive of Latino Heritage Month, Black History Month, Women's History Month, Asian/Pacific Islander History Month, Gay/Lesbian/Bisexual History Month, Indigenous History Month). This will be done primarily through collaborative ventures with student clubs and other organizations on and off campus.

Cultural Programming Collaborative
This collaborative team consists of individual representatives from each of the Division of Student Affairs departments as well as representatives from various other units or departments from the university who are spearheading diversity related initiatives. This group will meet periodically to collaborate and support mutual efforts. (This would include departments within Student Affairs, MCI, RCA, CAPA, Counseling, Law School, Coalition for Diversity, Growing with Diversity Committee, and other interested parties).

- Expand services to be inclusive of CAPA, graduate students, RCA and Law School campus sites.
- Cultural Resource Library (books, videos, magazines, journals, event board)
- Volunteer and Internship opportunities with OMS
- Sponsor: Safe-Zone Training
- Resources (internship, scholarships, conference clearing house)
- Evaluate, assess, and research programs and best practices.
