CLS Equipment charge for non-ULV events or multiple unit/off-campus events
Equipment checkout costs and policy:
- A single laptop and/or data projector may be checked out by faculty or staff at no charge.
- Multiple laptops and/or data projectors may be checked out by faculty or staff at no charge for any event, either on or off campus, put on by the University for University purposes.
- Multiple laptops and/or data projectors may be checked out by faculty or staff for a fee of $25 per day per item for any ULV-hosted events, either on or off campus, put on by/for external organizations.
- Multiple laptops and/or data projectors may not be checked out for events, either on or off campus, not put on or hosted by the University.
Limitations:
- Requests for multiple laptops and/or data projectors will be accommodated so long as they do not affect the ability of the Classroom/Lab Support team (CLS) to perform its mission of providing technology to faculty for teaching purposes.
- Equipment will be delivered anywhere on the main campus by CLS staff - equipment going off campus should be picked up at CLS in Leo Hall 116.
- CLS does not provide support for technology being used at off-campus events, but will provide a list of approved student technicians who may be hired for such purpose by the individual/department checking out the equipment.
- Requestors are responsible for the care and security of all equipment checked out to them - lost or damaged equipment will be charged back to the individual/department making the request.
