The University Counseling Center at the University of La Verne seeks a postdoctoral fellow for the upcoming training year.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will provide individual supervision to Psy.D. practicum psychology trainees, will co-lead weekly group supervision with a licensed psychologist, will conduct individual, couple and group psychotherapy and crisis intervention services to university students and facilitate a seminar on assessment and testing to the Psy.D. practicum trainees.

Duration of the Position:
This is a part-time position, approximately 20 hours per week. The position will begin in late August through May 31 of the training year. In addition, it is preferred that the applicant be available for a one-day orientation during the month of July.

Training/Supervision:
The postdoctoral fellow will receive individual supervision from licensed psychologists to meet the licensure requirements of the Board of Psychology. The fellow will receive training and supervision in providing supervision and psychological testing.

Stipend:
There is a stipend of $6,000 for the training year, payable in monthly installments.

Eligibility:
Candidates should have completed all requirements for a doctorate (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in clinical or counseling psychology by August of the training year. Preference will be given to applicants that have previous clinical experience with the college-age population.
