Employee Rideshare Program Incentives
- Guaranteed Ride Home- In event of an emergency, all participating employees will be provided a ride home. Please contact ext. 4076 ASAP during regular work hours, if after hours please contact Campus Safety @ ext 6666.
- Rideshare Matching- Need to find a new Rideshare Partner. Please email tsmith11@ulv.edu with current address and work hours.
- Personal Trip Planning- If planning to use Public Transportation to attend a local offsite meeting or need to find the best carpool route please call ext. 4076 for assistance.
- Rideshare Scrip Program- You will receive daily scrip payment for smart commuting to work. Scrip's can be used at several locations around the La Verne area.*
| Carpool to La Verne with La Verne employee or student (2+ in vehicle) | ONE Free Monthly Parking Permit per carpool group & $1 scrip per day each La Verne employee in vehicle (must carpool 3 days a week) |
| Carpool w/ Non-La Verne employee (must carpool 50% of route to La Verne) | 1.00 scrip per day (must pay for Parking permit if parking on campus) |
| Bicycle, Walk, or Public Transportation (must be at least 50% of route to LA Verne | $2.00 scrip per day |
| Motorcycle, Scooter, Natural Gas vehicle, or Hybrid vehicle | Free monthly Parking Permit |
| Vanpool | Paid Rental, Insurance and Maintenance, Free Reserved Parking |
- Turn in Rideshare Records by 10th of each month to be entered in Monthly and Quarterly drawings. To qualify for drawings, employees must participate 75% of month.
* All Rideshare incentives are considered taxable income. *
