Program Mission and Vision Statements

Mission:
Services for Students with Disabilities is committed to assuring every student with a documented physical, psychological and/or learning disability access to appropriate academic adjustments and/or auxiliary aids and to empower those students to use their full potential. The goal is to ensure full participation in the University's educational and student activities whenever possible.

Vision:
The University of La Verne is committed to a policy of equal opportunity in education and to ensuring that students with a disability have as complete and equitable access to all facets of university life as can be reasonably provided. The university has put in place a specific service known as Services for Students with Disabilities to assist in implementing this policy.
