As a result of New Student and Parent Orientation, students and parents will learn about resources, programs and services to aid in the transition from their previous educational experiences to the University of La Verne.

As a result of New Student and Parent Orientation, students and parents, through a set program curriculum, will become more socially and academically integrated to the University of La Verne than they were prior to attending the program.

The Orientation Week Leaders (OWLs), as a result of New Student and Parent Orientation training, will learn about several leadership and counseling theories and be able to describe and directly apply them to their experiences as OWL's in the 2007 New Student and Parent Orientation program.
