Ann Wichman

Professor Emerita of Sociology

Dr. Wichman received her Ph.D. from UCLA. Her areas of emphasis were social psychology and social inequality. Her dissertation was a case study of employee attitudes in an employee owned airline. Her teaching interests are social psychology, social inequality, sociology of the family, urban and community sociology and social theory. Her research interests are in the areas of ethnic relations and social mobility. She has sponsored several conference papers co-authored with students from the University of La Verne.
