Auditioning for ULV

Theatre Scholarships
While students do not need to audition to get into the theatre program, they will need to audition to be eligible for theatre talent scholarships. Theatre talent scholarships may only be awarded as a new or transfer student is admitted to the program. Through this and other generous financial aid packages, a private university like ULV is more affordable than many students and parents expect.

  1. Audition. Call Dr. David Flaten to schedule an audition (for performers) or an interview/portfolio review (for non-performers). Auditions are also held at our High School Theatre Festival.
  2. Apply to the University and get accepted by Admissions. SAT or ACT scores are required for admission. You may apply to ULV online at https://apply.embark.com/ugrad/ulaverne/5/. An award will only be offered after a student has been accepted by admissions.
