THAR 280 Theatre Seminar is taken three consecutive
fall semesters beginning in the sophomore year.

In the final year, each student presents a culminating THAR 499 Senior Project and its performances. Currently majors do not have to take a comprehensive examination; the senior thesis takes the place of a comprehensive examination.

The theatre major is completed by an additional
12 or more units of Theatre Electives
depending on the area of emphasis.

An emphasis is not required.

Many students mix and match courses from all four areas:
Acting - Design - Directing - Writing
