
1. The presentation should be about 15 minutes in length, maximum of 20 minutes. It can be any combination of scenes, dialogues or excerpts from any play of your choice, as well as student written, directed and produced work. Note: Only one entry per school
2. Elaborate costumes, sets and props are not required, but are encouraged if it is appropriate to the production. Please note, however, that participants will only have a small window of time to set-up and strike, but feel free to let your technical skills shine!
3. Be prepared for 5-10 minutes of comments by adjudicators immediately following the performance.
4. There will be noontime workshops during the extended lunch time. Your students can either bring lunch, eat in downtown La Verne, or at the campus dining hall. IUf you plan on eating at the dining hall, please email us your anticipated head count so that we can notify the dining hall.
5. Awards will be given for excellence in Individual Performances (Acting), Ensemble Work, Student Direction, Student Writting, Technical Excellence, and Overall Production Presentation (Outstanding Production).
6. Talent Scholarship Auditions in performance and/or technical theatre will be held for juniors and seniors who may be interested in pursuing their college education at the University of LaVerne
7. Priority deadline for application is December 7, 2007; applications received after this date will be accepted as availability permits. Please either send the $50 entrance fee with the reponse form. Payment made after January 18, 2008 will need to include a $15 late fee (total of $65).

ULV Theatre will provide:
1. Two adjoining facilities for alternating performances. The Cabaret Theatre is a black box/intimate facility with 70 seats and a 36 channel, two-scene preset lightboard. The Dailey Theatre Mainstage has 200 seats and a 96 channel ETC Express console. Please see the photos of the spaces below.

Cabaret Views2. Basic props only will be available: chairs, small tables, a small sofa. Some other limited props may be requested (e.g. cubes) prior to the festival. Your group should provide anything beyond these basics.
3. Basic lighting will be available: an area plot with separate front and back lighting; Dailey will have 3 colors of sidelight and typically 3 cyclorama colors.
4. Both facilities will have a CD player available. If you are bringing an iPod, please bring your own cables (mini headphone converted to XLR or 1/4" phone).
5. Two dressing rooms are available.
6. Be sure to bring anything else that you might need with you!
